The typical engine on the 2019 Honda CR-V is a 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder (I4) engine with an output of 184 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. Upgrade from the base-level LX, and you will get a 1.5-liter turbocharged I4 instead, which produces 190 horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque. Each engine is hitched to a continuously variable transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, with the option of going with an all-wheel-drive system instead.
